The Philadelphia Brewing Company makes a nice IPA. This is a dry-hopped beer using Amarillo hops. When I pored the beer, the head was small and was fizzy. The color is off-white and as I drank it, there was virtually no lacing. It also dissipates quickly.
The carbonation was medium and the body clarity is hazy. The color is an amber/copper color. There wasn’t really any malt aroma but the hop aroma was out in front. The citrus and floral notes took over and it was a sip that was thoroughly enjoyed. The initial flavor is bitter and the finish is long lasting. Very nice. The mouth-feel is creamy and the tongue hit is in the middle.
This is a nice sipping beer and one that I really enjoyed.
