Dancing After Life – Forest & Main Brewing Company

Dancing After Life - Forest & Main
There is nothing more enjoyable than a complex and flavorful stout. And Forest & Main Brewing Company has provided just that with their Imperial Stout, Dancing After Life. After pouring this beer into the glass, it has a dark, black color. It has a dark brown, frothy head that is average in size and dissipated slowly. Good head. Well, for a beer. The aroma of this Imperial Stout is that of chocolate and espresso, that is very welcoming. Having that first sip, that combination of chocolate and espresso are on the forefront. Each sip is more enjoyable than the one prior. There is an alcohol presence but it is controlled and it does not dominate your palate. You are not aware that this brew has that high of an ABV. I get a malt sweetness and wisps of vanilla, followed by coffee that stays around for a nice finish. Dancing After Life is a wonderful beer and one that I truly hope I get to have again. ABV = 9.4%
