10 is perfection, and is almost unattainable. Anything below a 6 is undrinkable.
Saison Dupont pours a nice gold color and a hazy clarity. The carbonation comes at a medium rate and has a white, foamy head that is two to three fingers high. There is quite a bit of lacing left behind on the glass.
This brew has a citrus aroma and a noticeable hop presence due to the dry hopping. There is also a pleasant earthy yeast note. When taking that first sip of this saison, I get spicy hop flavors, a malty sweetness, slight notes of orange and an enjoyable alcohol presence. The finish has hints of dry white wine with a spicy-hop bitterness. The more I drink this beer, the better it gets. This is a well balanced beer.
