10 is perfection, and is almost unattainable. Anything below a 6 is undrinkable.
My brother bought me a bottle of Hitachino Nest White Ale brewed by Kiuchi Brewery in Ibaraki, Japan since I do enjoy trying new beers.
Hitachino poured into the glass with a slight haze and a straw body color. The head was huge, fizzy in texture, white in color, but dissipated quickly. There was a small amount of head lacing and there was a medium amount of carbonation.
This brew has aromas of biscuit malt, a doughy-yeast, and wheat. The flavors are that of biscuit, grains and a slight spice. The finish is crisp, nice carbonation and is an easy drinking beer. Hitchino is a beer that is brewed in the style of Belgian White Ales and it has mild flavors that may appeal to most beer drinkers. Overall it is a nice beer, nothing fantastic.
