The American Pale Ale from Stoudts is an enjoyable brew.
After pouring it into the glass, it has a large foamy head that was off-white in color and dissipated slowly. The head actually lasted through out the tasting. The carbonation is medium and it has an amber color and a slight haze to it.
The aroma of this pale ale has a nice floral and citrus hop aroma that is not too strong, but it is prominent. There is also a grapefruit note in the aroma. When taking a sip of the beer, there is a spicey hop taste that has an enjoyable bitterness. The finish of the brew is pleasing. The hop bitterness stays on the palate but it does not linger to the point of being offensive. The American Pal Ale from Stoudts Brewing is a refreshing beer that can be enjoyed as a session beer.
