10 is perfection, and is almost unattainable. Anything below a 6 is undrinkable.
River Horse Brewing Co. is a local brewery that has some quality beers. One that I purchased is Triple Horse, a Belgian style ale.
Triple Horse has a small head that is white in color and fizzy in appearance. It has a soft carbonation and the head dissipates slowly that forms a thin layer on the top. The brew has a hazy clarity and is orange in color.
Triple Horse has raisin and sweet dark fruit aromas. The taste is similar to the aroma with that sweet dried fruit and raisin in addition to a malt backbone and a Belgian yeasty note. On the finish, there is a malty sweetness and a smooth, controlled alcohol presence.
Triple Horse has a medium bodied mouthfeel and is enjoyable to drink. Even though this beer has an ABV of 10%, you wouldn’t know it while you are drinking it. This is a nice beer to sip on but also one that you can drink a little faster.
ABV = 10%
We will see!
RiverHorse is a good brewery
