A beautiful glass of a wonderful beer.
This India Pale Ale from Stone Brewing Company is a very good beer. I just need to start off with that statement.
When I pour this beer into my glass, the head was an average size that was foamy, white in color and it dissipated quickly. The carbonation is soft, the body color is gold and the clarity is hazy.
The aroma of this IPA has citrus and floral notes that you just want to keep on smelling. Close your eyes and it is all hops. It would make a nice car freshener for sure.
When taking that first sip it is hops, right up front with grapefruit on the backend. The mouthfeel is creamy and when you swish it around in you mouth, it’s as if you can taste the hops blooming. The finish has an average length but it doesn’t linger to the point of annoyance. You are able to enjoy each sip since your taste buds aren’t overpowered. This is a well crafted beer. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys an IPA.
