India Pale Ales. They’re all the same, right? Try the India Pale Ale from Goose Island and you’ll think differently.
Right from the start, this ale has a large head that is white in color and foamy in texture. It dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing on the glass. The body color is a nice gold color.
This IPA has a nice floral aroma with grapefruit. It really has a great hop bouquet. Going in for this first sip, there is a burst of hop goodness and grapefruit notes. There is a nice spice to it that isn’t over done. This Goose Island brew has a wonderful bitterness that is pleasant and enjoyable and is light in body.
As my wife put it, “This IPA is crisp, clean and refreshing.” I have to agree with her. This IPA from Goose Island is a definite full case purchase.
