Hoi Polloi – Tired Hands Brewing Company

My friend Mike keeps telling me that I need to try the beers at Tired Hands Brewing Company.  So, he brought over a can of Hoi Polloi for me to try. Hoi Polloi pours with a hazy yellow body color.  It has a large foamy white head and nice soft rate of carbonation.  This brew leaves an excellent lacing on the glass. Nice amount of lacing on the glass....... The aroma is that of lemon and grassy hops which foretell the impending  experience that is to come.  The flavors are that of biscuit and cereal from the malt.  The hops lend grassy notes and a slight lemon-citrus  layer that balance out the malt flavors. Hoi Polloi is a refreshing beer.  It is a subtle IPA that has a Ying-Yang crafted approach to flavors.  The hops take center stage but do not take over, allowing the malt to shine through as the supporting role.  If you have the ability to try this brew, make sure you get two cans. I believe that I will be making a visit to Tired Hands Brewing Company and try out the other brews that they have. ABV = 4.2%
