10 is perfection, and is almost unattainable. Anything below a 6 is undrinkable.
My daughter picked my up a couple of beers that she thought that I would enjoy. One of the beers in that six-pack was Copperhead Ale from Fordham Brewing Company.
Copperhead Ale has a nice copper body color, soft carbonation, and a clear body clarity. The head size is average and is foamy in texture and off-white in color.
The aromas that I perceive from this ale are that of biscuit and bread, toasted grains, and earthy yeast notes. The flavor profile has those same biscuit notes along with caramel, toasted grains — malty upfront and a nice hop bitterness on the finish.
Copperhead Ale is a nice beer that is enjoyable to dink. It is not a standout beer that you need to rush out to the store and by a six-pack or a case of. However, it is a fine ale that has nice flavors and is a middle of the road beer.
