Buck Snort Stout – North Country Brewing Co.

I received a can of Buck Snort Stout brewed by North Country Brewing Co. from my good friend and fellow home brewer, Ken. Ken never steers me wrong so I had an idea that this had to be a good beer. It just had to be........ When poured, it has a huge foamy head that is brown in color and dissipated slowly.  The body color is black and no light passes through it. Beer Hunters Wanted. Buck Snort Stout has a chocolate and nutty aroma.  The taste has a nice roasted malt profile with dark chocolate flavors.  It has a slight sweetness up front but that is quickly countered with the noticeable hop presence that rounds out this stout.  It has a nice medium-bodied mouthfeel and is enjoyable to drink anytime of the year.  Ken picked another great beer. ABV = 7.0%
