Belgian Style Pale Ale – Blue Moon

Blue Moon Belgian Pale Ale

A nice easy-drinking Belgian Style Pale Ale. Cheers!

Even though Blue Moon is an off-shoot product of the Miller-Coors brewing company, there are some good beers that they make.  And the Belgian Style Pale Ale is one of them.

The beer has an Amber color to it with medium carbonation that stays steady.  The head is a white color, foamy in texture and average in size.  The head does dissipate quickly after pouring and leaves no lacing on the glass.

The aromatics of this pale ale has feint fruity notes and sweet-citrus hints.  The taste has the malt upfront and subtle taste from the hops that balances out the malt.  Since the beer is brewed with orange peel, there is a citrus taste detected.  The finish length is short and fades quickly, but all in all, the Belgian Style Pale Ale is a balanced beer that is enjoyable to drink.

ABV = 5.4%
